Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 14 ounces can petite diced tomatoes drained
  • 8 taco shells
  • Assorted toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and shredded cheese

How to make:

Heat a pan and add ground beef and separate it with a spatula. Add onion and cook until onion is tender and then drain the excess fat. Next add chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper and mix well to ensure the beef is well marinated in the spices. Add tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes. Once done, take the beef and add it to taco shells. Top it with lettuce, tomatoes, or any other topping of your choice.

Chicken Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil (or other oil)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Pinch cayenne pepper

How to make:

In a bowl, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Grease chicken with oil and put the spices on the chicken to marinate it. cook chicken in an air fryer at 400 F for 15 minutes. Let the chicken cool down for a while, chop it into bite sizes. Serve chicken with lime wedges in taco shells and toppings of your choice.

Easy Oven Baked Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces refried beans
  • 4 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (1/2 ounce)
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 12 to 14 crunchy taco shells

How to make:

Preheat oven to 400 F. Cooke the beef and drain the excess fat. Add the refried beans, tomato sauce, and seasoning to the meat and mix. Spread cheese on the taco shells and then add beef to the shells. Place the shells on a baking dish and add the remaining shredded cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Chicken Tacos (Low-Carb, Keto)

Ingredients:

  • Grilled Taco Chicken
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

To Assemble:

  • 8 leaves Romaine Lettuce rinsed
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup onion diced

Cilantro Sauce

  • 1/2 cup loosely packed cilantro
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or sour-cream or mayo
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 jalapeno optional
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make:

Add the chicken, garlic, olive oil, and spices in a bowl. Place in the fridge and let marinate for at least 15 to 30 minutes or up to 24 hours which is better. Place chicken on a grill or pan heated to medium-high heat. Let the chicken cook until it is no longer pink on the inside, about 10 minutes per side.

To Make Cilantro Sauce

Place all the ingredients in the food processor and blend for 1 minute or until creamy.

To Assemble

Layer lettuce wraps with chicken, tomatoes, onion, and avocado. Drizzle with cilantro sauce.
